Ump Eye is a baseball ball/strike judgment trainer for iPhone. If something isn't working right, or you have a question or suggestion, we'd like to hear from you.
I'm not hearing the "Ball"/"Strike" callouts or the mitt
pop.
Check that your phone's physical ring/silent switch is set to ring, and
that media volume is turned up. Ump Eye plays sound through the same
channel as music and videos, not through the separate ringer volume.
Settings also shows whether audio loaded correctly on your device.
I'm not feeling any vibration when the ball arrives.
Haptics are silenced by Low Power Mode and by the system Vibration
setting (Settings → Sounds & Haptics on your phone) — check both are on.
Haptics also don't work in Xcode's iOS Simulator; that only affects
developers testing the app, not real devices.
How does scoring/strictness/the strike zone work?
See the in-app rules explainer (shown the first time you play) and the
Settings screen, which lets you choose difficulty, strictness, and zone
rules (including MLB's Automated Ball-Strike system). Your accuracy
history is available from the accuracy stat in the top bar.
Versus mode won't connect, or my match seems stuck.
Versus needs an internet connection for both players for the whole match.
If your connection drops mid-match, reopening the app will try to
reconnect automatically. If a match still won't proceed, leave the match
and start a new one from the lobby.
How do I turn off / manage ads?
Ump Eye is ad-supported. You can review your ad privacy choices at any
time from Settings → Ad Privacy Options.
I have a different problem, or a feature request.

if you're reporting a bug, and screenshots if helpful.
