Ump Eye Privacy Policy

Ump Eye ("the app") is a baseball ball/strike judgment trainer. This
policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.
Information We Do Not Collect
Ump Eye does not require you to create an account, and does not ask
for your name, email address, phone number, or any government ID. We do
not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or health or
financial information.
Information Stored Only On Your Device
Your session history, accuracy statistics, and settings (difficulty,
strictness, sound/haptics preferences, and similar) are stored locally on
your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Multiplayer ("Versus")
If you use the optional "Versus" mode to play against another person:
- Your device is assigned a random identifier, generated on-device and
stored in your device's secure keychain. It is not linked to your name,
email, or any other personal information, and is not synced to iCloud or
any other device.
- The display name you choose for a match, along with match results
(scores and number of pitches called), is sent to our server to run the
match and maintain the public leaderboard.
- Standard technical information (such as your IP address) is
processed automatically by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) as an
inherent part of handling any network connection, the same as for any
website or online service.
- Match data is retained to operate the leaderboard. You can stop
participating at any time by not using Versus mode.
Advertising
Ump Eye is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. To
show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect
device identifiers (such as your device's advertising identifier), an
approximate location estimated from your IP address, how you interact
with ads, and crash, performance, and other diagnostic data about the ad
software, which may be used to show you more relevant ads and to
measure and improve ad performance.
- On iOS, we ask for your permission via Apple's App Tracking
Transparency system before any such identifier is used for personalized
advertising. Declining does not prevent you from using the app —
you'll simply see non-personalized ads.
- If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United
Kingdom, or Switzerland, or in a US state with applicable privacy law,
you will be shown a consent screen before ads are requested, and can
change your choice at any time from the app's Settings screen ("Ad
Privacy Options").

Children's Privacy
Ump Eye is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at
this same URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
